At Balsam Tahini, we are invested in ensuring complete compliance and commitment to the various certifications within the food manufacturing industry.   We are a reputable brand, and we make sure our top of the line equipment is consistently maintained, that all of our products are lab tested, and our teams undergo frequent training and audits each and every year.  Our personnel are trained on the most comprehensive food safety management systems (HACCP) in order to minimize risk and allow for optimal performance.  With each person’s clear understanding of the outlined protocols we ensure that our products consistently meet every standard in the food industry.  We have obtained the ISO 22000 certification and make sure to have our products tested by a 3rd party lab to guarantee that everything we manufacture is safe to consume.

We are proud to serve diverse communities with varying needs, and are proudly Kosher certified by the Kashruth Council of Canada (COR) as well as Halal certified by The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of Canada (Halal).  For our clients who are interested in purchasing Organic products we are Organic certified by the Organic Council of Ontario (OCO), and are pleased to be able to meet their needs.
