INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Balsam Sunflower Seed Butter Spread
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the sunflower seed butter, brown sugar, and egg until smooth.
- Stir in the oats and baking soda.
- Scoop onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
These cookies can turn slightly green around chlorophyll-rich baking soda — that's a harmless reaction with sunflower seeds, not a sign anything's wrong.
