Ribbons of smooth and crunchy pistachio spread through a brown-butter blondie base.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup Balsam Smooth & Crunchy Pistachio Spread, warmed until pourable
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and egg, then stir in the flour.
- Spread into a lined pan, dollop with pistachio spread, and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes.
Warm the spread slightly first — it swirls into the batter far more evenly than straight from the fridge.
