INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/3 cup Balsam Pine Nut Butter Spread
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups flour
METHOD
- Cream the butter, pine nut butter, and sugar together.
- Mix in the flour just until a dough forms.
- Roll into a log, chill for 30 minutes, then slice and bake at 325°F (165°C) for 14–16 minutes.
Pine nut butter's natural sweetness means you can pull back slightly on added sugar compared to a standard shortbread recipe.
