Layered dessert cups that bring the Dubai chocolate flavor profile to a spoon-friendly, no-oven dessert.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup crushed digestive biscuits or graham crackers
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Balsam Pistachio Kunafa Spread, plus extra for topping
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

METHOD

  1. Mix crushed biscuits with melted butter; press a spoonful into the bottom of 4 small glasses or jars.
  2. Beat the cream cheese, pistachio kunafa spread, and powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in the whipped cream.
  3. Spoon the mixture over the biscuit base and smooth the tops.
  4. Chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Just before serving, warm a spoonful of pistachio kunafa spread until pourable and drizzle over each cup.

Top with crushed pistachios or a few strands of toasted kataifi for crunch.
