A classic two-ingredient wellness ferment: raw garlic slowly transformed by raw honey.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup peeled garlic cloves
- 1 cup Balsam Pure Organic Honey
METHOD
- Place the peeled garlic cloves in a clean jar.
- Pour the honey over, making sure the garlic is fully submerged.
- Loosely cover and let ferment at room temperature for at least 1 week, burping the jar daily to release gas.
The honey will thin and bubble slightly as fermentation begins — that's a good sign, not spoilage.
