INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Balsam Hazelnut Butter Spread
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
METHOD
- Stir the cocoa powder into the hazelnut butter until smooth.
- Stir in the honey and salt.
- Store in a jar at room temperature or in the fridge.
The toasted, velvety hazelnut butter here is most of what makes classic chocolate-hazelnut spread taste the way it does — this version just skips the palm oil and refined sugar.
