Zaatar halawa swirled through labneh for a herby, savory mezze dip.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup labneh or thick Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp Balsam Zaatar Halawa
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Warm pita, for serving
METHOD
- Stir the zaatar halawa into the labneh until swirled through, not fully blended.
- Spread onto a plate.
- Drizzle with olive oil and serve with warm pita for dipping.
Leave visible streaks of halawa rather than mixing it in completely — it looks (and tastes) better in ribbons.
