A smoky twist on classic deviled eggs, no smoked paprika required.
INGREDIENTS
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, halved
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Balsam Smoked Sesame Oil
- Paprika, for garnish
METHOD
- Scoop the yolks into a bowl and mash with mayonnaise and smoked sesame oil.
- Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites.
- Dust with paprika.
A little of this oil replaces the usual smoked paprika base note — start with just a teaspoon, it's potent.
