A savory route for a nut butter that's usually reserved for breakfast — this one goes straight onto grilled skewers.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup Balsam 12 Mixed Nut & Seed Butter
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- Warm water, to thin
METHOD
- Whisk the nut butter with soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, and chili flakes.
- Thin with warm water until it coats the back of a spoon.
- Serve alongside grilled chicken or vegetable skewers, or toss through rice noodles.
Gluten-free and no added sugar, so it's an easy substitute anywhere a peanut satay sauce is called for.
