Thick toast, warm pistachio halawa spread, a drizzle of honey — done in five minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 slices thick sourdough or country bread, toasted
  • 4 tbsp Balsam Pistachio Halawa Spread
  • Drizzle of honey
  • Flaky sea salt and crushed pistachios, to finish

METHOD

  1. Toast the bread until deeply golden.
  2. Spread generously with the pistachio halawa spread while the toast is still warm.
  3. Drizzle with honey and scatter crushed pistachios and sea salt on top.

Warming the jar slightly (10 seconds in the microwave) makes the spread glide instead of tear the toast.
