A fragrant, traditional dessert perfumed with orange blossom water.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp Balsam Orange Blossom Water
- Chopped pistachios, to finish
METHOD
- Simmer the rice and milk together over low heat, stirring often, for about 15 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in the sugar, then the orange blossom water off the heat.
- Chill or serve warm, topped with chopped pistachios.
Add the orange blossom water off the heat, right at the end — its delicate aroma fades quickly if it simmers too long.
