Naturally sweetened, no-bake bars built around the same nut and seed blend as the spread itself.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Balsam 12 Mixed Nut & Seed Butter
- 1/3 cup mashed ripe banana or unsweetened applesauce
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped dried fruit (optional)
METHOD
- Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment.
- Warm the nut butter gently until pourable, then stir in the mashed banana.
- Fold in the oats and dried fruit until evenly coated.
- Press firmly into the pan and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Slice into bars once fully set.
Pressing the mixture down firmly (really lean into it) is what keeps the bars from crumbling when sliced.
