METHOD

  1. Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment.
  2. Warm the nut butter gently until pourable, then stir in the mashed banana.
  3. Fold in the oats and dried fruit until evenly coated.
  4. Press firmly into the pan and chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Slice into bars once fully set.

Pressing the mixture down firmly (really lean into it) is what keeps the bars from crumbling when sliced.
