Hazelnut halawa spread whisked into warm milk and cocoa for a rich sipping chocolate.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp Balsam Hazelnut Halawa Spread
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
METHOD
- Warm the milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Whisk in the hazelnut halawa spread and cocoa powder until fully dissolved.
- Taste and add sugar if you'd like it sweeter.
- Pour into mugs and serve hot.
Keep the heat gentle — the honey in the spread can scorch if the milk boils.
