A no-fuss cheesecake bar built around the crunch of kunafa-studded pistachio halawa.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Balsam Pistachio Halawa with Kunafa
- 1/4 cup sugar
METHOD
- Press graham crumbs and butter into a lined pan for the base.
- Beat cream cheese, halawa-kunafa spread, and sugar until smooth.
- Spread over the base and chill for at least 3 hours.
- Slice into bars.
The kunafa pieces in the spread keep a little crunch even after chilling — it's the whole point of this one.
