Cored apples filled with honey halawa spread and walnuts, baked until tender.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 apples, cored
- 4 tbsp Balsam Honey Halawa Spread
- 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Fill the cored apples with the honey halawa spread and chopped walnuts.
- Dust with cinnamon and place in a baking dish with a splash of water.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until tender.
The honey in the spread caramelizes as it bakes, so don't be surprised if a little bubbles over the top — that's the good part.
