A make-ahead baked oatmeal studded with crumbled cinnamon pecan halawa.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup Balsam Cinnamon Pecan Halawa, crumbled
- 1 tsp baking powder
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the milk and egg, then stir in the oats, crumbled halawa, and baking powder.
- Pour into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until set.
Save a few extra crumbles of halawa to scatter on top before baking for a crisp, caramelized crust.
